Leadership plays an important role in establishing a positive Process Safety culture. Their action—or inaction—affects employee perception of safety, and employee perception of safety can make the difference between an accident-prone and an accident-free work environment.
Most of our Gulf Coast petrochemical companies understand the 3 key legs of the Process Safety performance triangle, but the multiple elements and implementation of all three legs of the triangle vary widely from company to company, resulting in very different Process Safety performance between companies. This presentation will discuss the key elements that Leaders need to understand in their organizations in order to have great Process Safety performance.
