In annual surveys, CEO’s & COO’s cite Business Leadership as what they view as missing from Safety Professionals. This is the leadership ability to look beyond Safety and make decisions considering the entire business. Two major factors that affect Leadership are Perception and Communication. Perception IS reality. Do others perceive you as you want to be perceived? If not, either you need to change, they need to change, or both. This can occur through proper Communication skills. In Part 2, this interactive presentation will guide attendees through the sources of others’ perceptions of us and how to use Communication tools to effect the necessary changes that will allow us to be Business Leaders.
