ABOUT ROD
Rod  leads the implementation and continuous improvement of Conduct of Operations (COO) and Operational Discipline (OD) across the Chocolate Bayou manufacturing facility in Alvin, Texas. In this senior leadership role, he oversees the integration of COO/OD principles within nine production units and a centralized maintenance organization. He also supports Ascend’s broader U.S. Gulf Coast manufacturing network in advancing its COO/OD philosophy beyond the traditional framework.

A chemical engineer with extensive experience in continuous-process operations in the U.S. and Canada, Rod has a strong record of driving safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. His approach emphasizes rigorous adherence to operating fundamentals, structured performance management, and data-informed decision-making to strengthen operational integrity and organizational learning.
