ABOUT MARC
Marc Williams is Plant Manager at Underground Services Markham, LLC a subsidiary of Texas Brine Company, LLC, the largest independent, brine producer in the U.S. serving the chlor-alkali industry and underground storage of hydrocarbons. Texas Brine was founded in 1946, and helped pioneer the solution mining process for salt mining, as well as the use of underground salt caverns for the storage of hydrocarbons.
In this role, Marc is responsible for managing the safe operation and performance of solution brine mining and underground hydrocarbon storage operations at Underground Services Markham, LLC’s location outside of Bay City, Texas. Underground Services Markham, LLC produces brine, which is the key factor in the chlor-alkali industry. In addition Underground Service Markham, LLC stores a multitude of liquid hydrocarbon products and natural gas in underground salt formations for a variety of customers. These products play a key role in our society’s day to day activities.
Marc joined the Texas Brine family of companies in 2009 after serving in the United States Navy. He began his career as an operator technician at Texas Brine’s Chacahoula, Louisiana facility before assuming the role of Pipeline Supervisor for Texas Brine’s Louisiana pipelines in 2015. In 2020, Marc took the role of Regulatory Manager for United Brine Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Texas Brine, where he managed every aspect of state and federal regulatory affairs across the entire Texas Brine family of assets including; well permitting, state and federal compliance audits, and DOT pipeline program creation and implementation. In 2021, Marc assumed the role of Plant Manager at Underground Storage, LLC in the heart of downtown Houston. In 2026, Marc assumed the role of Plant Manager at Underground Services Markham, LLC.
Marc was born and raised in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He is a graduate from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science. Marc and his wife Bridget live in Sugarland, Texas with their two children, Stella and Elias.
