"Application of Hybrid Decon for Industrial Emergency Response"

ABOUT REGGIE
Reggie is a retired Fire Service Captain from Mobile AL where he spent 29 years serving in various roles on the Mobile Fire Rescue Department. Reggie's last position was as a Captain and Team coordinator for the Hazardous Materials Response Unit. Training emergency response teams, particularly in the industrial setting, has been a focus area for Reggie for more than 20 years. He has experience as an OSHA Outreach instructor, rescue response manager and has taught locally, nationally, and internationally for industrial emergency response.

Reggie has presented at several Health and Safety Conferences and was the Keynote Speaker at the Manufacture Alabama conference in 2012 where he presented "Public Protection versus Public Perception".   In July of 2023 Reggie retired from the fire service and took a position with First Line Technology.  As the DeconTect Product Manager-Southeast he has been able to work with response agencies, emergency management, healthcare, law enforcement and industrial customers developing decontamination strategies based on the latest technologies and best practices guidance. Reggie has established himself as a subject matter expert in the field of decontamination.

Pulling from his years of response experience and time as a trainer in the industrial response field, he is able to interpret the latest data and best practices and apply them to the unique world of industrial emergency response. When he is not deconning Reggie can usually be found chasing speckled trout around Mobile Bay and spending time with family.
