ABOUT MICHEAL
Micheal is the Chief Executive Officer of the WaterJet Technology Association (WJTA), the first to hold the position in the organization's 40-year history. He assumed the role in August 2025, bringing 29 years of hands-on expertise in hydroblasting, industrial cleaning, and waterjet technology.
Johnson's career began in 1996 as an assistant plant operator in the chemical recycling sector, evolving into senior sales and operations management roles, including Director of Turnaround Services Division for a national industrial cleaning company.
A passionate advocate for worker safety and regulatory compliance, he is actively expanding WJTA’s international partnerships with leading industrial cleaning associations. Previously, he contributed to WJTA, the Industry Business Roundtable (IBR), and Sprint Robotics. Under his leadership, WJTA continues to drive innovation, training, and best-in-class safety standards across the global waterjet and industrial cleaning industry.
