ABOUT MONICA
Monica "MC" Caudillo is the Manager of Community and Government Affairs for BASF Freeport, where she enhances the company's relationships through continuous engagement tailored to community needs, concerns and expectations. In her role, she also serves as the Public Information Officer (PIO), overseeing internal and external communications and employee engagement. MC organizes stakeholder meetings, hosts the Brazosport Community Advisory Panels (CAP), and attends community events, all of which provide valuable insights into the communities surrounding BASF Freeport operations and helps foster strong relationships.
Before joining BASF, MC worked at LyondellBasell, where she managed social impact and corporate citizenship programs that contributed to positive outcomes both locally and globally. Her extensive experience includes nearly a decade in fundraising for the nonprofit sector in the greater Houston area.
MC is actively involved in Brazoria County, serving on the executive committee as Vice President of Development for the Angleton ISD Education Foundation, board of directors of the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County Nominating Committee. Additionally, she has joined the Brazosport College Board of Regents in May 2026.
MC earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Texas A&M University in College Station. Her diverse background and commitment to community engagement drives her passion for making a positive impact in her hometown.
