ABOUT RICHARD  
Richard serves as the HSES Manager at Kuraray EVAL and is a highly engaged leader in the safety and environmental community. He currently serves as Chairperson of the Industrial Business Roundtable and the Texas Chemistry Council 2025 EHS Seminar, as well as Vice Chair of the Texas Chemistry Council Occupational Safety Committee. A recognized leader in the field, he was named the 2021 TCC Safety Professional of the Year.

Richard also chairs the EHCMA Best Practices Committee and the La Porte, Morgan’s Point, and Shoreacres LEPC, while contributing as a consultant to the La Porte Plant Managers Network. In addition, he serves on the board of the Texas Safety Foundation and is a member of the San Jacinto College CPET EHS Advisory Board.
